I am praying to become a better pray-er this Lent; to really take the time to be still and converse with my Father in heaven.  I am praying that my children take this season to grow in closer friendship with our Lord.  I&#8217;m praying for those who are battling themselves from within; a silent yet deadly battle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Pondering&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nI am pondering a &#8220;rigid&#8221; prayer schedule to get me started on the right foot to ingrain some much needed habit in my prayer life.  I have been in a season of pregnancy, new babies, nursing babies, waking toddlers and that season is slowly slipping away. First let me remind you, <a href=\"https:\/\/calledtolifecoaching.com\/bible-journaling-littlest-way\/\" target=\"_blank\">I am not a crafty person<\/a>.  Second, this was so much fun.  I bought some pretty cards at Hobby Lobby and washi taped them into my <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0195289226\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=0195289226&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=justa0e-20&#038;linkId=6CYWE5N2U2FAQQ4U\">journaling Bible<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=justa0e-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0195289226\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>.  Why?  Because it&#8217;s pretty, it still plenty of space to journal and take notes and because the time spent trying to figure out exactly what and how I wanted to do this&#8211;I was meditating on God&#8217;s Word.  &#8220;How do I want to write joy?  Do I want to write Philippians 4:8 or some complimentary verse?  What are some other verses about joy?  How about the verse in <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1414313047\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=1414313047&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=justa0e-20&#038;linkId=W4ZUBYIIZCVMV5UG\">The 4:8 Principle: The Secret to a Joy-Filled Life<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=justa0e-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1414313047\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>?&#8221;  I mean this took some time y&#8217;all.  And all that time was spent with my heart, mind and hands literally in and on God&#8217;s Word.  Awesome!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Around the House&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nBernadette and I have decided we need to take up a 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge this Lent.  Enough said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the Kitchen&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nI have not been committed to following <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0988775115\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=0988775115&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=justa0e-20&#038;linkId=RTPNHVTDCBGEIZR5\">Trim Healthy Mama<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=justa0e-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=0988775115\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> lately.  I need to, I just feel better.  We&#8217;re also moving into Lent so that changes what meals look like around here as well.  Tuesday we&#8217;ll have our Shrove Tuesday party and then it&#8217;s all business!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Domestic Church&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nShrove Tuesday party on Tuesday and Ash Wednesday on Wednesday&#8230;Mass, Stations and soup dinner every Friday&#8230;I told the big girls to grab a spiritual book off the shelf for their Lenten reading, their choice.  The younger kids will each read an age appropriate Bible&#8230;I need to sit down with the younger kids and help them come up with the plan for Lent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Saving Money&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t.
