Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Thanking God for…

::another weekend full of soccer games

::Parish pot luck focused on learning more about the Rogation Days of the Church

::seeing one of my favorite families there

::browning burger before it went bad–it’s the little things, lol!

::finishing up the Sirach Bible Study and Journal and sending it to be proofed

::Sunday afternoon for reading and planning

::visit from out of town family–although too short

::Friday night Adoration with the Boy

Praying…

I’m praying for the hearts of my children. I want to always keep them close–not physically, that would be unrealistic, but I’d like for our hearts to be close. I pray this is not unrealistic. I’m praying for our family in general. There are so many prayers, so many intentions, some of them are so deep I’m not even sure words do them justice.

Please share your prayer intentions in the comments and I’ll add them to mine this week.

Pondering…

How to be a momma to my oldest, graduating senior–what does that look like? How do I do it well? This is really important to me. How to be a momma all the way down to the four year old–I know what this looks like, he’s my seventh four year old…but there is always room for improvement. And then there’s being a momma to the five in between those two…

Listening to…

Some of this is being written Sunday night. I’m listening to the boys playing, Chris getting things settled for the coming week, Bernadette getting her school lined out for the coming week, the dog barking and other sundry Sunday happenings.

Reading…

My large print Bible""

Divine Intimacy

The Way of Trust and Love

Divine Mercy for Mom’s

Bible Journaling…

Not particular to
Bible journaling alone but I wrote the other day on Choosing the Right Catholic Bible. I included information about the only Catholic Bible I’m aware of right now with wide margins for Bible journaling.

Around the House…

We did a major clean Friday since we were expecting out of town family for a quick visit. It fell apart between seven soccer games Saturday and Sunday.

In the Kitchen…

Monday–Frito Chili Pie

Tuesday–Beans, Chips and Cheese

Wednesday–Pork Chops

Thursday–Hamburgers

Friday–Breakfast

Saturday–Crockpot Chicken something

Our Domestic Church…

Our friend from Church who organized the potluck to learn more about the Rogation Days has uploaded a book about this beautiful tradition of the Church,
Ember and Rogation Days.

Saving Money…

I plan on writing soon about how we paid off our home in six years…hopefully this week it will be ready.

Captured…
