Welcome to the Daybook. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Thanking God for… Praying… Pondering… Listening to… Reading… Here’s my over-eager, super-ambitious reading list. And I’ve already marked one book off the list!

Divine Intimacy

Bible Journaling… I also shared a post last week on using a Catholic Journaling Bible.

Around the House… In the Kitchen… Diffusing A Great Blog Post The Littlest Way Our Domestic Church… Saving Money… Captured…

Chris and I are praying a 9-week novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe in petition and then another 9-weeks in thanksgiving. I’m praying we all get over our colds quickly! Every single one of us have it!

My goals for the year, January Goals with Grace.

All my people coughing and sniffing.

40 Days to a Joy-Filled Life

Here’s a little Bible journaling I did in Psalm 1 last week using the “Goals with Grace” Illustrated Faith Bible Journaling Kit.

We were supposed to have our House Epiphany Blessing today but since we’re all sick we’re postponing it to hopefully later this week. I love the spiritual aspect of the blessing but also the physical aspect. We have the entire house blessed: bathroom, garage, closets…everything, which means a major house clean!

A couple of the kids were stuffy on my birthday so we skipped cake and ice cream. Now that we’re all sick, we’ll wait a bit longer. I’m making the Trimtastic Chocolate Cake (this is a super moist cake and all you do is dump all the ingredients in the blender and then pour into a cake plan) and topping it with Coconut milk ice cream…YUM!

Fighting Five for the win!

If you haven’t read this post yet, 12 Tips to Ensure Your Kid is More Important Than Your Phone, you really must. After reading this article I installed an app on my phone, Quality Time. It is eye opening to see not only how much but also where I spend my time on my phone. Moment looks like it might be a good option for an iPhone.

Did you read about my One Word for the Year? Do you pick one?

This Friday is the Feast of Our Lord’s Baptism. Here is an article explaining more. A fun way to celebrate would be to talk about and look at pictures from you and your children’s baptism. Oh and make punch! Punch is the most under-rated drink around! Everyone loves it bit we only drink it at weddings, baptisms or baby showers. Yes, definitely drink punch!

Our old cheapy Ninja blender is slowly dying. It’s over a year old and used at least once a day, everyday. The saving money part is, since my 15 year old daughter is so faithful in using Ibotta when I grocery shop, we have earned enough to purchase a new Ninja with no our of pocket expense! I cannot encourage you enough to use Ibotta. It’s totally free so you have nothing to lose.
