Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!

Praying…
Do you remember that children’s show that sang, “This is the song that never ends…” That’s how I feel about this 9-week Novena we’re praying. And what started as one intention has now multiplied the longer the novena goes.
Pondering…
Listening to…
My younger boys love to listen to “Joy” to get “pumped up” for their soccer games, lol!
Reading…
The One Year Bible – Catholic: NLT
This is my “quantity” Bible to make sure I get the Word inside me each and every day.
Catholic Journaling Bible
This is my study Bible.
I started reading Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life this week. So good. From looking on Goodreads I know it does take a swipe at the Church and has at least one pro-Luther quote but I can sift that.
I’ll start reading The Forty-Day Word Fast: A Spiritual Journey to Eliminate Toxic Words From Your Life when I finish Liturgy of the Ordinary.
The kids and I started reading Think 4:8: 40 Days to a Joy-Filled Life for Teens during our morning family school.
Around the House…
Have you ever looked around and wondered how things got so dusty? Yeah, me neither, ahem.
In the Kitchen…
Lots of crockpot meals now that school and soccer practices/games have started. Those of you who follow Trim Healthy Mama or even Keto, do you have some favorite crockpot meals?

Self Care
I’m slipping into some bad habits–not drinking enough (always), putting off exercise until later (rarely happens later), and grabbing something to eat randomly (never a great choice).
I am getting up earlier to spend time with God so there’s that.
(I purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member with FREE shipping, Edens Garden has FREE shipping all the time in the US.)

Enrollment for our Online Bible Study Community opens sometime next week! These months go by so fast; you know the saying, “Time flies when you’re having fun!” Enrollment is only open for a few days at the end of each month so be watching! And if you’re not ready to join us in community, you can purchase the downloads in the shop and work through them on your own.
Our Domestic Church…
The Feast of St. Matthew is this Friday. Next month is dedicated to the most Holy Rosary so start thinking about ways to honor and celebrate.
Saving Money…
Aldis. That is all. Oh, and precooking a bunch of meat–browning burger and cooking and shredding chicken and then freezing them. It makes it super easy to put meals together when that first step is already done.
