Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Reading…
Bible in a Year: Your Daily Encounter with God
This is my “quantity” Bible to make sure I get the Word inside me each and every day.
Catholic Journaling Bible and the Inspire Catholic Bible NLT: The Bible for Coloring & Creative Journaling
These are my study and journaling Bibles.
I finished Divine Direction: 7 Decisions That Will Change Your Life and will be posting my Book Notes from it soon.
I’m still reading through The Miracle Equation: The Two Decisions That Move Your Biggest Goals from Possible, to Probable, to Inevitable but my daughter Anna keeps picking it up to read.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!
Bible Reading…
I’m still working my way through a 90 Day Bible reading plan at YouVersion. This is not a Catholic Bible Reading Plan so it will take longer, plus I’m about 20 days behind but I keep reading! Friend me over on the app and we can share notes and reading plans. Here are some of my recent notes.
Mark 4:19–God’s Word can be crowded out by:
1. Worry
2. Greed
3. Discontent
Jeremiah 17:5, 7-8–Roots
Jeremiah 15:19–Influence
Proverbs 4:25-27–Look STRAIGHT AHEAD…no looking back, I’m not going that way!
Jeremiah 30:17–PROMISE! God will restore me and heal me!
Job 26:4–Whose spirit speaks through me? GREAT QUESTION!
Around the House…
I have so much laundry to fold it’s hilarious! Also, we just switched up jobs around here and this is our first week, so far so good I think? Looking out the windows this morning I thought, “I need to clean all these windows because some day (please Lord) the weather will start to get cooler and I want them clean before winter. And, I think that last statement makes me sound like an old lady, lol!
In the Kitchen…
I may need to take this prompt out because it’s always the same! I’m always struggling to meal plan, prep, cook, and clean up. Except for Friday nights when we have Friday Family Fun Night. I need to carry my Friday attitude over to the rest of the days.

Self Care
I’m a broken record here as well but I cannot tell you the difference working out daily has made physically, mentally, and emotionally…even spiritually, in my life. Chris came across a picture from last year on his phone and couldn’t believe the difference! The one area I just feel like I’m seeing results is the “bra bulge” area. I need to focus more on that area I guess? MIx some things up?
My favorite diffuser recipe right now for my bedroom is Myrtle and Orange. Myrtle is great for calming and nervous tension and added with Orange, which is a mood booster–this is a great combination!
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
