Praying for…
Right now I have a whole list of intentions I’m praying for in my St Andrew Novena. I found my paper from a couple of years ago and it was interesting to see not only what I had prayed for at that time, but how those prayers had been answered.
Pondering…
I’m trying not to ponder too much right now; I’m tired. But ponder I do, because that’s a part of who I am. I am pondering the changes that seem to be taking place at a much quicker rate now that some of my children are older. I am in a phase where I am more aware of time–how quickly these mothering years with my older children has gone by now looking back–how many, many more I do have with younger children–how mcuh life I have lived (good and bad) in my 42 almost 43 years…
Listening to…
Chris is reading a book to Luke and Maximilian and Leo are running around playing some sort of pretend game.
Reading…
My Bible
Writing in the Margins: Connecting with God on the Pages of Your Bible
The Liturgical Year – Vol. II Christmas Book One
Around the House…
Now that camping/hunting season has ended all the hunting clothes and camper bedding needs to be washed on top of the mountain of everyday laundry. Leo is a mess right now–meaning into everything–so keeping up with him and everything he gets into is exhausting. And then the rest of us–let’s just say life has been a little messy the past few months.
Looking Ahead…
Feast of the Immaculate Conception, school, chores, soccer, piano, ortho, dentist, doctors…
Goals…
1. We’re working on getting back on budget.
2. Continue to design my new blog template and make the move the end of the year.
3. Pick up my camera every day.
4. Drink more water every day.
Captured…Soccer Practice in the Fog
Each day there is more encouragement and even some laughs over on my Facebook page. Head over and “Like” me there for more.

I ponder too – all the time! It seems I’m always ruminating on something!
I think about living life well too…56 and next year I’ll be 57…How DID that happen?! Living life to the full – that’s my challenge – in the sense of the Gospel, not just for the sake of having a good time, that doesn’t interest me.
I love the thought of the soccer…What in Britain we call football right? It is still quite rare in the US eh? How great is that…I love football!
I still can’t get over how much energy you have!
Jenny says
Yes, our soccer is your football. It was not popular here when I was growing up but has become much more so.
