Welcome to the Daybook. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Around the House…
Bridget and I had dental appointments Monday. Being gone all morning long totally sets me back a day! Laundry gets behind and floors are neglected. On another note, Friday I held a a skin care class for L’BRI in my home. I overheard a woman ask, “Where is all her stuff?” I think people assume if you have a large family, you also have lots of stuff and although I think we have a bunch of stuff, I do work hard to keep it to a minimum–relatively speaking with 8 of us living here every day–all day.
In the Kitchen…
I went to Pampered Chef party the other night and ordered only the two items I went there to order…see above about stuff. I need a new chopper–all mine have broken after 7-10 years and I needed a new round stone–again, broke after about 7 years through no fault of its own.
Self Care
I totally get it now. I understand why my oil loving friends are always talking about their oils because I feel the same way with my skin care now. (You can read here why I purchase my essential oils from Amazon instead of a distributor.)
The Littlest Way
Did you read last week’s post on the three songs I have on repeat and how music affects me?
Our Domestic Church…
This Saturday, the 22nd is the Feast of Mary Magdalen. One tradition is to eat Spice Cake on this day in honor of the spices she used on our Lord’s Body after He was crucified.
Saving Money…
I think we should be at the last of the medical bills for Luke’s broken wrist and my surgery. Then we should be able to start saving again.
