Praying for…
Has the world gone seemingly crazy or what?! So many prayers so little time it seems. I’m praying for good, holy priests, strong families, healthy marriages and women who especially struggle and are worn out by negative thinking.
Pondering…
I’m pondering what it is and exactly how I am supposed to do all that I am supposed to do. I’m pondering the fear of looking back and ahead, so staying focused on the present moment, yet the joy that lies ahead–not the fear.
Reading…
My Bible…have you been following along as I read the book of Sirach for 31 Days? I need to add more book notes to my Book Club Suggestions page.
Creating…
One of my creative outlets, not that I have so many, is blogging. I made some changes, long time readers I’m sure are not surprised. What do you think? I have a clearer understanding and focus on my blogging and I think the changes reflect that purpose.
Listening to…
Jim Croce–especially Time in a Bottle
Amie –by Pure Prairie League
Looks like I’m in a 70’s frame of mind.
Oh, except Jamie Grace. Love this CD–One Song at a Time
In the Kitchen…
Munching on some yummy popcorn cooked in a bit of coconut oil and sprinkled with salt, courtesy of Veronica.
Saving Money…
Anna went grocery shopping with me this week. That girl has some awesome money saving gene in place. She had coupons ready to go, price match ads and took pictures of price tags at Sam’s so we could compare between Sam’s, Aldi and Walmart.
Looking Ahead…
soccer practices, piano lessons, school, chores, ortho appointments, 31 Days Writing Challenge…
Each day there is more encouragement and even some laughs over on my Facebook page. Head over and “Like” me there for more.

This is a great idea! I haven’t thought of having a Daybook journal online, I love looking back at waht I have written in the past this would make sure it’s kept in one spot!

Honk. $2. for DVD’s. Also, the changes are all good. You are such a gifted writer and teacher.
I understand more clearly what I heard long ago about being a teacher. They said even if you reach only one child, it’ll be worth it. I thought, all of that work? For one child? That doesn’t seem worth it to me. Now I know how in touching only one life, you touch so many more.
God’s love spreads like wildfire. And speaking of Wildfire (remember that 70’s tune?), we are surrounded by horse farms and I had one running along side of my van the other day. No words. You are so blessed.
