Hi, I’m Jenny and I’m addicted to pretty journals, pens, highlighters and Pins featuring colorful scripture journals. I want to journal Bible quotes…but I can’t. It’s not that I don’t try–believe me I do. It’s not that I don’t have the right tools–believe me I do. Ahem, I visit office supply stores and the school supply aisle like some women seek out good chocolate or great shoes. I think it’s my perfectionist tendencies. Yep, I think my inner perfect–who my husband wishes would show herself useful around the house–that keeps me from journaling inspiring Bible quotes. Ever wanted a peak into my mind? Keep reading and you’ll understand why I can’t journal Bible quotes…
Daily Advent Devotional for Women
I am so excited to share the Daily Advent Devotional for Women with you. I want to encourage you to remember who you are in Christ–which is a passion of mine–as you prepare for His birth. I pray this devotional will bless you. I enjoyed writing it a couple of years ago and I very much enjoyed re-visiting it lately as I updated it. Read the devotional on any device that supports PDF’s (which may be all at this point) or print it and bind it. I took mine to the office supply store and had it comb bound for around $3, coil binding is a bit more and of course if you have it printed there the price will increase. I would love to hear your reflections on the devotional. Let’s chat in the comments here, or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Inspiring Bible Quotes: Isaiah 40:31
My first post after my 31 Days Writing Challenge where I read and blogged through the book of Sirach and I’m going to quote from Sirach again! Today I want to consider inspiring Bible quotes. I was recently reading The Way by St Josemaria Escriva and came across this quote where he compares barnyard hens to eagles.
