Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Bible Reading…
I’ve been sharing my notes from my daily Bible reading over on Instagram each day. I start with the question, “Have you read your Bible today?” I try to keep them short, sweet, tot he point, and simple to understand.
Around the House…
A couple of weeks ago I cleaned all the windows inside and out, except for the bedrooms on the othered of the house. Wow! What a difference! I’m feeling the need to purge some more, which is funny because compared to lots of people, we don’t keep a lot of stuff around.
This school year got off to a bumpy start, as I know many did. Even though we’ve been homeschooling forever, we switched the way we do it this year and the learning curve has been steep! And bumpy! On the days I remember to grab my people and oil them up and run all the diffusers, things seem to more smoothly.
In the Kitchen…
It’s chilly so that means chili! Plus we need to use up the very last of the venison from last season. Between Chris and the kids we usually end up with 3-4 deer a year and that lasts us a year. It has been lasting a little longer this year because I talked Chris into butchering one of his cows for me♥

Self Care
Here are some essential oil conversation snippets I’ve had the past week:
–make sure you’re using your Endoflex roller bottle I gave you to keep your adrenal glands healthy under all the stress
–did you try Lavender
–I can either put Cedarwood on you so you’ll go to sleep or I can smother you with your pillow
–put a drop of Orange in your hands and take a big whiff, you’ll feel better
–have you tried Thieves
–I use a drop of Nutmeg on the arches of my feet before bed to help my adrenal glands
–did you use your Endoflex roller bottle this morning
–you smell Vetiver, I just took a hot, Epsom Salt and Vetiver bath
–that’s my Cold Bomb roller bottle you smell
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
