Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Bible Reading…
I’ve been reading but taking fewer notes it seems the last few weeks. Here are some notes I’ve taken recently using the YouVersion app and in my notebook.
Romans 15:2
“We must bear the ‘burden’ of being considerate of the doubts and fears of others.” (TLB Translation)
James 1:2-4
So let it grow
Around the House…
Last night Chris and I talked about how we’re going to arrange furniture to accommodate folding and chairs for Christmas dinner. We’ll start cleaning Christmas Eve day probably? Chris would like to start earlier but dude, lots of people live here and we’ll just have to reclean on Christmas Eve.
Last Friday for Friday Family Fun Night we made Gingerbread houses out of graham crackers. This week we’re going to dip pretzels!
In the Kitchen…
Veronica’s home which means one day soon my entire kitchen and dining room will be taken over for her annual making of the cinnamon rolls–thirty to forty pans worth!!

Self Care
I went to bed last night at 8pm. I had an emotional hangover from Monday’s dog-pile. But before that, Luke invited me on a bike ride since he didn’t have soccer practices. It has been so long since I’ve gone on a bike ride–too long. We only went about a mile/mile and a half? but had so much fun!
I’ve been diffusing lots of blends that involve citrus oils. Citrus oils are huge mood boosters! Also, lots of nice, long, hot baths with calming oils.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

I believe this year of growth will play a huge role in this space come 2020
