Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Pondering…
“What I’ll tall parents at a Baptism today: your children are entering into a covenant with the Almighty God. No matte rhow far they may stray, God will now be after your children the rest of their lives, and won’t let them rest until they rest in Him, just as He did with Israel.”

This is my “quantity” Bible to make sure I get the Word inside me each and every day.
Catholic Journaling Bible
This is my study Bible.
Y’all! I am less than 50 days away from having read the entire Catholic Bible!!! I am so excited! So excited I’ll probably have a giveaway to celebrate!!
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!
Bible Journaling…
If you’re thinking about buying a Catholic Journaling Bible for yourself or someone else for Christmas, be sure to check out my post comparing the two available journaling Bibles.
Around the House…
Today I cleaned my bedroom from top to bottom, dusting to vacuuming! I pulled all the books off the shelves and decided if I would maybe, might, possibly read it or want to read it in the next year. If the answer was, “Meh,” the book got stacked up in a cabinet. I did the same for the bookshelves in the living room. I need some visual space and margin right now and “hiding” books I most likely won’t read for a while helped.
In the Kitchen…
Tonight we had Cheeseburger soup and Carmel Pecan Turtle Bark…Yum!

Self Care
I am soaking up ALL the resources from Dr. Edie Wadsworth in her Young Living Facebook Groups! Anna and I are watching videos and reading posts learning all about the benefits of using essential oils.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I sign up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

St. Andrew Novena begins the end of this month and Advent begins soon! Here’s a post on our favorite Advent Traditions.
Saving Money…
Right now Anna and I are figuring out how much money we can save by switching to Thieves as our household cleaner. Bonus, the little boys can now safely help me clean too!

Yay for reading the whole bible!!!!! In fact you have inspired to read in a year, I’ve already bought a Bible In A Year, the one from Augustine Institute. Now I have read every book in the bible but I’ve never read the whole thing in a year so it is a little bit intimidating. However God willing one year from now I will be saying the same thing you are now.
