Welcome to the Daybook. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Listening to…
Maximilian and Leo are playing something, the dryer is doing its tumble thing, the washer is doing it washing thing, and the air conditioner is doing its air conditioner thing. Musically, I’m listening to Andrew Peterson Radio on Pandora. And at lunch today we listened to this sermon,

Bible Journaling…
Did you catch the post on Friday about the fastest and easiest way to get started with Bible journaling?
Around the House…
Do you ever look around your house and think, “Why do we have this stuff?” And then you ask yourself, “But what would I do without it?” Just me?
In the Kitchen…
I am on a serious Instant Pot rolland LOVING it! Sunday night I made Venison Stew, tonight I’m making Venison Fajita meat. Last week I used my Instant Pot three times. Do you have a favorite Instant Pot recipe?
Self Care
Today is the first morning I have not woken up with a horrible headache. My essential oil order from Edens Garden just came in so I started using the headache oil and could tell a noticeable difference. If you don’t get free shipping from Amazon as a Prime member, shipping is always free from Edens Garden directly. (You can read here why I purchase my essential oils from Amazon instead of a distributor.)
A Great Blog Post

Saving Money…
I usually enroll my children in Seton reading starting in 6th or 7th grade and then fully enroll once they hit high school. Luke was enrolled last year and made A+ on all his book reports. In an effort to save money this year, I did not enroll him in 8th grade reading. We will continue to use all the books, but I will put together the lesseon plans. Next year when he’s a freshman, we’ll enroll him back into Seton. On top of that, I am brainstorming away trying to think of anything I can to save money and make money.
