Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life, and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Gosh…all the kids and all their things. Thanks be to God.
Pondering…
Totally shallow pondering–I’m trying to choose a color for our living room walls. Ten years ago I wanted them a Sage Green. The color they ended up being was a bluish-green. I have never liked the color. I would love to paint them a creamy gray but this is an older house with lots of wood–think 1980’s wood. Chris loves the wood–or dislikes the idea of the time, money and effort to get rid of all the wood, so the wood stays. I like gray and white, but not gray and wood. Veronica has been trying to talk me into a buttery yellow so I picked up some samples the other night at Lowe’s. Right now we’re between Sherwin Williams Butter Up or Valspar Homestead Resort Tea Room Yellow.
Listening to…
Right now, the dryer. On my phone or computer, To the Moon and Back by Luke Bryan.

Bible Journaling…
This is a recent example of some Bible journaling I did. Simple, easy, not fancy–obviously! You guys, if I can do this–you can!
Around the House…
Well, obviously pondering paint colors. Also, trying to declutter, arrange and organize as I go. It’s hard with eight people in one house–hard, but doable and a an exercise in virtue.
In the Kitchen…
I am still loving my Insta Pot! I’ve made: stew meat into yummy filling for enchiladas, stew, a recipe my sister made up we call Mumbo (chicken, smoked sausage, corn, black beans and cajun seasoning).
Our Domestic Church…
The Feast of Our Lady of Ransom is coming up this Saturday.
Saving Money…
Oh my goodness girls! I emailed a company about one of their products that we love. I explained why we started using their product and what we love about it. They responded–actually a letter from the president (maybe? maybe not?) asking for our mailing address so they could send us some. They sent us $40 worth of product!
Captured…
Two of my favorite things: my Bible and a quilt made by my grandma and grandpa.

I just came back to this post to see what color you mentioned. Still not painted. Let’s see and I know you’ll understand: car trouble, hot water heater trouble, master shower trouble–had to tear the whole thing out to the studs!! Maybe in a couple of months I’ll be ready to paint.
