Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.
Thanking God for…
::a safe trip to and from the city for soccer
::sharing a room with one of my friends and her girl
::Anna’s help around the house while I was gone
::Jimmy John’s Unwich–I get the Beach Club
Praying…
You guys–things are really tough right now. REALLY TOUGH. Will you please pray for our family?
Pondering…
The way fear changes our perception. How quickly things can change. Why God answers prayers when after the fact it seems like a mistake.
Listening to…
Right now, the dryer. You know, the dryer that only works in the off position.
Reading…
My large print Bible
Sirach Bible Study and Journal
Bible Journaling…
Did you see my Bible Quotes About Patience the other day? I’ve been Bible Journaling in a Travelers Notebook. This is a great idea especially for those who don’t have a journaling Bible. Even for those who do–I do, but I can tell you this will most likely become my go-to Bible journaling spot.
Around the House…
We need to clean the garage.
In the Kitchen…
Not feeling inspired, gotta do it anyway.
Our Domestic Church…
Tomorrow is the Feast of St. Isidore the Farmer. Doesn’t that sound like a great day to carve pumpkins?
Saving Money…
We really worked ourselves into a hole. Yes, we paid off our house in 6 years. After the fact, meaning the last couple of months when we thought we’d suddenly have all this extra money, we realized how much we were taking from our savings for day to day living while continuing to make larger house payments. So yes, we have paid off our house but we’ve also depleted our savings. There are some job issues right now that make having a savings account an absolute must.
