Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Pondering…
Bridget was sick yesterday and even though old enough to stay home without us, she just felt bad so we tag-teamed Mass. I ended up going to the local Church up the road instead of the parish we belong to and it was amazing! After Mass the priest, a sweet Hispanic priest asked everyone to sit down he had an announcement and needed their help. He said in the pew there were slips of paper that asked for name, address, and phone number. If you knew of someone who was Catholic and no longer practicing their faith, write their information down and he would “go find them.” He said the pope has told the priests to get out of the office and he wants to go find the sheep who have wandered. It was so beautiful I sat in the back pew and cried.

Self Care
I got some new oils in and I am LOVING them! I specifically ordered Harmony, Valor, Joy, and White Angelica to use in the morning for a “Great Day Protocol.” Friends, I know some question using essential oils as a Christian, I even wrote a blog post about it, Can Christians Use Essential Oils. And no, I do not believe the oils make me have a good day. I DO believe the power of the plants God created and I DO believe the power of setting my heart and mind intention for the day in conjunction with using the plants God made for us.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

Did you catch my post on Friday telling the Internet Catholics to quit shaming families at Mass when a child is in their sports uniform? It was a good one if I do say so myself. AND, that IG post above where I talk about a God Revelation? That will be a post hopefully sometime this week ♥
