Here and There–this post is a collection of some of the good, true, beautiful and just plan ‘ol funny I run across on the internet throughout the week. If you have something that left an impression on you: made you laugh, made you think, made you cry, or even made you mad, leave it in the comments. (If you are reading this post by email, you’ll need to click “Read More” to see all the links.) Today it’s all about Gospel on a Snowy Day.

…and by “Brought to you by…” I mean since I realized I could add entire albums to my music library, I hit repeat and listen to them over and over.
Have you seen this “40 Portraits in 40 Years.” I would love to do this with all my children…and just the girls…and just the boys.
Speaking of photographing my children, this was an interesting read, The Most Photographed Generation Will Have No Pictures in 10 Years! “It is estimated and less that 1 out of 100,000 photographs taken today actually ends up being a printed photograph.”
Do you print pictures any more? I need to. My older children have photo albums and poor little Leo only has a few printed pictures even though as a whole I have taken more pictures of him.
Top 20-ish Songs for a Perfect Date Night. I recognized some of these. Do you have a particular song that makes you think “romance” “date night” or even just a song that reminds you of your husband (or wife)? My ringtone for Chris is Harvest Moon by Neil Young.
Can I tell you how hard it is to get 15 solid minutes of quite inside my house on a snowy day? It’s impossible. I made a video about my prayer journal–but it was 20 minutes long…too long. So I’ve been trying to make a shorter version today, but with everyone inside…let’s just say it’s been difficult to record a video with out children hooting like an owl or begging for more food in the background. I’ll try again once Leo goes down for nap.
I pray you enjoy your Saturday–snowed in or not and if you find something good across the world wide web, leave me link in the comments; I’d love to read it.
Thank you for this post – it made me smile to imagine you coping with a full house on a snowy day!
I can hardly think of snow – it is so hot here!
