Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!

Praying…
Got a couple of doozies going right now y’all. If you could spare a prayer for my intentions I would be most grateful.
Pondering…
On the way home from Colorado we stopped in Kansas to visit my grandma. Hard stuff y’all. HARD. She has some Alzheimers and I hadn’t seen her for a while. She didn’t really know me and just looked past me or through me when we first got there. I left the room crying. I went into the bathroom, washed my face and gave myself a pep talk. Over the course of two hours she started coming around. She only said 5 words to me, “You have blue nail polish.” When it was time for me to go she started crying–she knew who I was and knew I was leaving. I cannot even tell you how much Veronica and I cried in the car as we were leaving. So, I’m pondering all things my grandma–past, present, and future. Here are some posts about my grandparents in case you’d like to get know them and me better: Showing Off My Home, Eternal Rest, Extended Family.
Listening to…
A couple of Spotify playlists. My blogging friend Bobbi at Revolution of Love asked for music recommendations for her sweet momma who is battling cancer. Bobbi put together two playlists to share.

Gosh, it’s a blessed constant. Thankfully Chris and Anna kept things going while I was away for 5 days…maybe even better than me.

Self Care
While we were staying in the hotel, I took a walk every morning. We also hiked St. Mary’s Glacier. I’ve said this before here in this place but part of my motivation almost a year ago to start being intentional about moving was because I wanted to be able to keep up with my children walking hilly college campuses like Benedictine or across soccer fields or even hiking a small glacier with their team. I have not regretted that decision once in this almost year time.

The Littlest Way
Our Online Bible Study group is such a sweet spot in my life right now. The prayer threads, the camaraderie of reading Philippians together, the lovely group of women assembled; each part of it blesses my soul.
Our Domestic Church…
One of the benefits of our four years of soccer travel has been visiting different churches for Mass. Although I haven’t necessarily been pleased with the way some of the Masses have been celebrated, for the most part, I have enjoyed the beauty of the different churches–for the most part. There are a couple that comes to mind that were difficult to appreciate.
Saving Money…
Today is Amazon Prime Day! I usually do some Christmas shopping today for larger ticket price items like electronics.
