Monday we start our journey to joy. To help us along the journey, I’ve created a simple, one page , worksheet for chapter 1. My prayer is this worksheet will increase our comprehension of not only what St Paul is expressing through his letter, but our understanding of how it can apply in our daily life. (Click the link to download.) Resource used–Ignatius Catholic Study Bible: New Testament. I’ve stated before and will continue to write about how reading inspiring Bible quotes can increase our joy.
Inspiring Bible Quotes
There was a time when I took into my mind anything and everything that came along. That was a bad idea. So I tried to stop. That was an unsuccessful idea. I could not just “Not think about” something and leave that empty void in my mind. I had to replace the negative thoughts and images with something and I chose inspiring Bible quotes to fill that void. Scriptures that proclaimed the truth about me and who I was in God’s eyes. These verses, especially some we will be looking at in Philippians, were crucial in my effort to change my negative thinking habits.
Below you’ll find a link to a simple worksheet I created. But you know what, it may not suit you, and that’s ok. Do what works for you. You’ll get a laugh about how badly I want to journal Bible quotes and can’t! Find your way to spend time taking in the Word of God. It’s not about what it looks like or if it can be Instagramed; it’s about abiding in Him and giving Him a place to abide in you.
Philippians Chapter 1 Worksheet
Each day this week, I will try, please God, to stop in with my thoughts on these inspiring Bible quotes found in Chapter 1 of St Paul’s letter to the Philippians.
Each day there is more encouragement and even some laughs over on my Facebook page. Head over and “Like” me there for more.

Sorry for my Yay! with nothing more. We’re on vacation and typing on the Kindle is a burden for me. I was just excited to see everyone back. I had grieved the loss.
I’m not sure if I’ll join in completely. I’m currently reading Trusting God With St Theresa and if I cannot truly adopt this wisdom, I feel as though nothing else will matter.
I may just read along though, if that is ok. Blessings to you and this little way.

I feel like there is so much there to contemplate and I’m finally letting go some. It’s long overdue. I’m on my way to read your review. 🙂
